“A mail art project brought to you by Ruben and friends.
Ruben Cooke began cancer treatment for relapsed Hodgkins Lymphoma at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford in the month of January, 2010.
This project has been designed to provide some distraction from the reality of his situation. We plan to exhibit some or all of the work received, upon completion of Ruben’s treatment.
Our theme, “splice“ has multiple definitions but, crucially, contains the word ICE, which directly references the combination of chemotherapy Ruben will be receiving for the duration of his treatment.“
