The War Baby
Intriguing, satirical, clever and skillful drawings indeed.

The Nutcracker
Really rather wonderful photography by Cade Martin, of The Washington Ballet. It’s refreshing to see photos that are not only expert but the subjects are also talented in their own.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen an installation that has actually interested me, not purely aesthetically but thought-provokingly. luzinterruptus art collective have come up with some clever as well as beautiful urban interventions, more than once, mostly in Madrid. I wish I could see this last one in person and maybe roll around in it, but alas the photos will have to suffice.

What’s your story?
Story telling exercise:
Using 7 or more of the following characters, make up a story. It’s got to be epic.
The Old Man.
The Invalid.
The Innkeeper.
The Three Witches.
The Talking Shrub.
The Boy.
The Escapist.
The Birdman.
The Ringmaster.
The Dandy.
The Giant Cat.
The Broken Man.
And my personal favourite, The Prophet of Doom.

An experiment to bring city hands and nature together.
or…
Finger plants! Bushy rings! Organic Bling!
I think they are pretty.
I do wish they came with the teeny tiny special men.
They make me happy.
